Yoga for pregnant women enhances body awareness, improves communication between Mama and baby and provides holistic wellness of body, spirit and soul. Targeted exercises strengthen and relax the back, teach you to regulate your breathing and prepare you for the changes to your body and for childbirth. Every Mama can begin the exercises from the very first day of her pregnancy. The exercises are adjusted depending on how far the pregnancy has progressed, and regular practice is both recommended and relaxing right up until the birth. Of course, all of our teachers are mothers themselves, so they can use their own experiences to answer all manner of questions.
This is the logical continuation of yoga for pregnant women. Specific exercises are also practised for the period following the birth, while special asanas support postnatal involution.
