The Feelgoodstudios were founded in 2007 and are run by Julia and Knut Rakus. Today we run a practice for general medicine and traditional Chinese medicine as well as three yoga studios in Vienna and also offer classes online. With our great and experienced team we offer a wide range of classes (yoga, pilates etc.) for different life situations. You can always find out who is teaching where and when in our schedule.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
Who we are
Dr. med. Julia Rakus
As a doctor and yoga teacher, Julia has much to share with her students. Julie sees life as a total work of art and learns and teaches to be content with it: Tat Tvam Asi — this is you. Julie sees the mat as practice to master everyday situations and believes that behavior on the mat gives insight into various life situations. In addition to her studies in Human Medicine, Nutritional Sciences, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, she has completed a number of Yoga Teacher Trainings and Continuing Education courses, including David Swenson, R. Sriram, Sarah Powers, and many more.
Mag. Knut Rakus
Manager, travel junkie and owner of several yoga studios. Knut has been teaching intensive sessions since 2007, but the physical exertion is only meant to be a side effect. Demanding asanas force our mind to maximum presence and focus — we arrive in the “HERE” and in the “NOW”. For Knut, the uniqueness of each individual is in the foreground — appropriate support and personal corrections are therefore especially close to his heart. He has completed numerous teacher trainings & workshops all over the world, among his greatest inspirations are Danny Paradise and Sriram. He is also strongly influenced by Ashtanga through one-on-one sessions with Axel Dinse in Vienna.
Our teacher team
Our team consists of experienced teachers who share their in-depth knowledge, experience and Feelgood Spirit in the Feelgoodstudio. In our group classes you will enjoy their comprehensive and individual attention. Our teachers have many years of experience in offering alternatives and variations so that your practice is adapted to your needs.
While we welcome applications, our teachers are almost invariably invited to teach with us.
